What is A Course in Miracles?

A Course in Miracles is a complete self-study spiritual thought system. The three-volume curriculum with text, student workbook and a teachers manual teaches a way to universal love and peace through forgiving others. A Course in Miracles is based on the healing of relationships and, as such, is but one of “many thousands” [M-1.4.2] of programs out there that focus on this topic. What is Right-Minded Teamwork?
Right-Minded Teamwork is a business-oriented, psychological approach to team building where acceptance, forgiveness and adjustment are teammate characteristics and 100% customer satisfaction are the team’s results.
The ‘big idea’ behind RMT is right-mindedness.
It’s simply a conscious choice to embrace do-no-harm attitudes and demonstrate them in your life. Like ACIM, rightmindedness is grounded in the belief that your thoughts precede your behavior. So if you want to change your outside behavior, if you are practicing rightmindedness, you first look within at what you are thinking.
If you have led or worked in a team, you will immediately see the benefits of using Right-Minded Teamwork as a practical, continuous-improvement team-building system. And if you are a Course in Miracles student, you will see the similarities because they both believe in an inward-looking process, specifically that looking within helps you see the connections between the outside world and your inner state of mind.
The Common Thread: Forgiveness

Forgiveness is the cornerstone concept, what we call the ‘big idea,’ in A Course in Miracles. Every student strives to forgive in their daily lives. And so it is with Right-Minded Teamwork.
Can you imagine how amazing it would be if all your teammates extended forgiveness and corrected team mistakes rather than spreading attacks and becoming defensive? When you implement Right-Minded Teamwork, you won’t have to wonder anymore.
The Why: Benefits of Using Right-Minded Teamwork
A learning laboratory- Mistakes are converted into learning and growth opportunities, rather than a chance to punish, place blame or take on the cloak of victimhood. The experience of looking at mistakes as a chance to turn them into positives means more success for your business.
Cooperation vs competition- Clashes and power struggles give way to collaborative behaviors as people gently release past grievances and grudges.
Improved creativity and a focus on finding solutions- As people practice forgiveness, they drop their judging behavior, are free to forget the past and become more open to finding solutions that fresh ideas can bring.
Increased productivity through a safer workplace—emotionally, mentally and socially– Teammates who spend less time on defending themselves in a hostile work environment are less fearful, more fully present when they perform their duties and more likely to produce better results.
